SA Canegrowers’ Chairman, Andrew Russell (centre) and Industry Affairs Manager, Dr Muhammad Kadwa (third from right) hosted AgriSA CEO Johann Kotze (far right)and AgriSA Trade and Relations Officer, Simohn Engelbrecht (centre) on Tuesday 30 April. The group were hosted at Chantilly Farm on the KZN North Coast where they were given a tour of the SA Canegrowers’ cane juice project, a tour of the South African Sugar Research Institute and the Sugar Terminal at the Durban Port. This was Kotze’s first tour of the sugar industry.
